What were they trying to resolve:
This was the 2nd installation at Torquay Golf Club and further to the success of their first system wanted to continue their carbon footprint reduction and become more energy independent across the site.

What was the solution?
From the survey we established the site required panel level monitoring in the event a stray golf ball struck the roof array along with a purlin fixed rail system to raise the system off the single skin sheet roof. We also design the array to avoid existing skylights to allow natural light to pass into the workshop.
What was the result?
We landed on a Tigo optimised 3PH system which also has the capability of adding batteries at a later date via the hybrid inverter. The inverter also allows for future expansion of additional panels on the higher roof should they wish to bolster their generation. The system was fed directly back to the main supply so the golf club can not only see individual panel generation but also the grid usage for all the connected buildings.
