Who are we?
Mechanical, electrical and renewable specialists
M&E Contrax is a mechanical and electrical contractor based in Devon, delivering a broad range of services for businesses, homes and industrial clients across the South West and beyond.
Founded over 20 years ago by Kevin Moore and Paul Merriam, the business has grown from its roots in commercial M&E contracting into one of the region’s most established renewable energy installers. Today we cover solar panels, battery storage, heat pumps, air conditioning and EV charging alongside our full commercial services offer.
We are part of the Western Industrial Group, a group of Devon-based businesses with a long track record in the South West.

Who’s who?
Meet the team
We are a small, experienced team. The people who answer your call, survey your property and install your system are the same people you will deal with throughout the project, and the same people you can call afterwards if you have a question.
Kevin Moore
Kevin co-founded M&E Contrax over 20 years ago. He takes a hands-on approach to everything the business does, from running the company to meeting customers, and is perfectly comfortable on-site when the job calls for it.
Paul Merriam
Paul co-founded the business alongside Kevin and has project-managed some of the most complex projects Western Industrial Business Interiors has undertaken, from technical plans to liaising with customers directly.
David Moore
David is responsible for the delivery of M&E installations. He plans and organises his team, gets involved in specifying and drawing plans, and visits projects on-site throughout.
Lee Bullingham
Lee leads our solar PV installation team, designing bespoke solar panel and battery systems for businesses and homes. He is as happy installing on roofs as he is in the office.
Andy Bradbury
Andy makes sure every client, job, delivery and enquiry in the M&E division is handled swiftly, bringing over 15 years of experience in quoting projects and managing maintenance contracts.
Tamsin Pay-Savage
Tamsin is often the first point of contact for customers and manages a huge range of office tasks. Efficiency and competency are second nature to Tam.
Justine Hadley
Justine is in charge of accounts and helps keep order in the office. If you have a question about an invoice or a charge, Justine will know the answer.
Cameron Nimmo
Cameron is responsible for marketing at M&E Contrax, bringing a background in digital marketing and a keen eye for detail to how the business presents itself.

NICEIC approved
We hold NICEIC accreditation for electrical installation work, confirming our team operates to the standards required by the UK’s leading electrical safety certification body.
MCS certified
MCS accreditation covers our solar PV, battery storage and heat pump installations, so customers can access the Smart Export Guarantee and grant schemes such as the Boiler Upgrade Scheme.
RECC registered
We are registered with RECC, the Renewable Energy Consumer Code, which gives additional consumer protections to customers buying renewable energy systems.
Renewables Excellence
We are a Renewables Excellence certified installer, recognising the quality of our renewable energy installations and the service our customers receive.
TrustMark registered
TrustMark is the UK Government-endorsed quality scheme for work carried out in and around the home, giving homeowners extra confidence in who they choose.
