The challenge
Due to their exceptional growth moving into a new building had increased their running costs of the business, notably their electric usage. DSigns looked in to what solar panels could do for their business and contacted us to come up with a scheme that provided both cash savings as well improving their carbon footprint.

Our solution
DSigns asked M&E Contrax to come up with a scheme to solve their issues by installing Solar Panels in Newton Abbot.
We started by checking the roof was suitable and not north facing. Although a north facing roof is possible for Solar Panels in Newton Abbot a south facing roof would be optimal. We came up with a scheme that offered a 39% reduction in their annual bills as well as export back into the grid making use of the available FIT (feed in tariffs) available.
M&E Contrax helped by advising there were Solar Panel installation grants for businesses within Teignbridge Council and advised to apply for this.
M&E Contrax came up with a Solar PV scheme that was 23% larger for the same costs than other Solar PV Companies and were pleased to offer exceptional value for money.
The result
A fully designed and installed Solar Panel Installation In Newton Abbot which has reduced DSigns energy bills by 39% and improved their carbon footprint. Both of DSigns key objectives were met and with a turnaround time of 2 weeks from DNO approval they were reaping the benefits of the system quickly.
