What’s Next for Installers
Installers will move over to the redeveloped MCS Scheme throughout 2025 and into 2026.
During this period, MCS and individual Certification Bodies will confirm when each business is ready to transition.
Until your business has officially been transferred, you will remain under the current scheme requirements including compliance with MCS 001-1 and existing technical standards. This means all existing certification obligations continue to apply until MCS and your Certification Body confirm your transition timeline.
